Thunder Butter Makes is a monthly series of hands-on creative classes at Thunder Butter Works. Each class introduces a different material, process, or fabrication technique and gives you the opportunity to learn something new, experiment, and make something of your own.
Classes are designed to be approachable and encouraging, whether you're an experienced maker or just someone who wants to try something new. We'll provide the tools, materials, instruction, and a supportive environment—you bring your curiosity and creativity.
In Stacked, you'll design and build your own dimensional wall sculpture from a collection of wooden shapes. Explore color and composition, experiment with spray paint, create a custom CNC-cut shape, and learn to assemble your piece using a nail gun. We'll finish by learning how to install a French cleat so your artwork is ready to hang when you leave.
